The Foundation for Law Justice and Society is delighted to support the fourth annual Civil Justice Conference on Consumer ADR/ODR. For full details, a programme of events and to register, please visit the Centre for Socio-Legal Studies website.

This year's event will address three topical issues:

  • How have Member States implemented the EU Consumer ADR Directive, and what landscape changes have occurred? Findings of a joint Oxford-ECC-NET study.
  • Do consumers trust Ombudsmen? The findings of a major ESRC study into consumer trust into 14 Ombudsmen in Germany, France and UK.
  • How should ADR bodies evolve? What criticisms and issues arise? What are the responses and future actions?
